I wouldn't read too much into an article. Band's of that size don't really live in each other's pockets anymore. I'm pretty sure Liam had his own dressing room on that Lord Don't Slow Me Down documentary and that's when they were on good terms, so that doesn't mean much

and as for them not traveling together, well it's not like they are doing a different city every night and logistically need to be on a tour bus or something. they are playing multiple concerts in one city before moving on to the next for the most part, many bands in that situation don't necessarily always travel together.

Of course the article might be corrected and maybe they still can't stand each other and just doing it for the money and being kept apart. I don't think that would surprise anybody either, but in terms of the content of the article, I don't think it means anything one way or the other because very few bands on that kind of scale live each of the pockets anymore, even if they get along.

My guess is there's been an improvement in the relationship. Seeing their kids suddenly spending time with each other is a sign that things aren't quite as bad.
