As someone you would consider a insane poster I agree . Not that I need to but just to defend that and not to speak for the others but if you look at the majority of us who have ridiculous amounts of posts. We have been here for quite some time people like , myself ( real date 2003) mimmi , Eva, sticky , caro , lionsden ( like I did on a break now ) n4 le And others all have been here since this was so much more than just a tecnical music breaking down producing questioning place , we were / are here because it was fun still is to fuck around about life and get serious about music , debate to be sure , I had my bad patch but never the way your mentioning , just this place is so much better than others or just reading news or playing solitaire so I prefer my time spent here when I can and I suspect that's why the others do as well . That said your right. But the only way around the nonesense is to let those people win and you leave and if others follow you then it becomes the small place it was back in in 03 when I joined the party ... Or WEBBY just starts banning period ! I am not for banning in general fbut if annoys enough people that may be the answer . The mods and I am not saying this because as most know I an friends with eva and mimmihopps but unless they are paid a full time salary to playpen everything to keep threads clean cannot be expected to police everything we are supposed to be grown ups . But the mods can't playpen every fight they have a life It's getting out of hand never quite this stupid close but not that I remember thankfully I wasn't here for the " team lame days " ( on my sabbatical like lionsden® now ) But WEBBY need to have a idea it's kinda boring watching and I don't let it bother me so I can imagine what it's like for those that it lets bother Cheers years ago forum members seemed to self-medicate more which made things a lot more interesting........and back then it seemed we were all just happy to've found others that liked Oasis, haha......i know most of my friends don't like Oasis as much as me.....I've never met someone in real life that had say, The Masterplan album or a single.... i also didn't even go in to the Oasis-related sections of the forum til '08 or get that involved because analysis of Oasis seems a little ridiculous.....it's pretty straight forward and simple... i blame all the over analysis here on how and what's taught in schools today......kids are given a disservice in some ways.... my favorite, and looking back, the best teacher i ever had in school, pushed expression/feeling over thought.......i suggest to everyone that's young here to go out and fuck some things up and hopefully learn...... God bless. LOL ...Dr. Kinsey just called, he want his muse back. |

I think a lot of people believe that the way Liam's presented in the press is how he behaves away from the cameras. Everyone who's met him says he's a lovely bloke and he is a legend of rock and roll imo, a great frontman and a great character. Sure he can be infuriating at times, eg. terrible live performances, moody interviews and just making an arse out of himself but he definitely doesn't deserve his criticism imo. I can see why non-oasis fans might hate him but it always amazes when I see "longtime oasis fans" shocked by something rude and controversial he's said, he's Liam Gallagher not Chris Martin Most who post on here aren't proper Oasis fans. They certainly aren't anything like any of the ones I've met. They're squares with no taste when it comes to other bands and have way too much time on their hands. Go to an Oasis/Beady Eye/NGHFB gig and you won't find these nobheads down the front. |
