Liam is making better music, is younger & better looking, has reconciled with his kids, is still mates with the former band members, speaks to his brother Paul, and is showing how Oasis songs should sound live. Liam is not making better music, Liam's cover of Oasis songs are a parody and shit sounding. his live band is appaling and he's sold out to stay relevant. Age ? really ? Noel has been keeping in touche with Molly for the past 20 years when Liam never contacted her but now does because it's good for his image. Noel has got Chris Sharrock and Gem in his band so that's twice the band members he's talking to everyday, compared to Liam who only has bonehead who probably got paid to say nice things about Liam in the documentary. Paul Gallagher has been living to 30 years off the back of his brothers, Noel does not have job for him so he went to Liam, who needs a surrogate big brother. I can't give a f**k what's going on between Gallagher brothers. I have my life, job, family, friends and hobbies. As long as both Liam and Noel gives me music I love, it's fine with me. |

Fascinating thread. There really is a parallel to be drawn between reading some of the shit on here and how populism and a charismatic leader can make people completely distort the lines of right and wrong. The level of ridiculous shit, misogyny, picketing, and what aboutism expressed by some is insane. I'd like to think that only because it involves the Gallagher's, some people are taking this so personally, and they don't normally hold such double standards and still can distinguish between the basic lines of right and wrong. But then if they act this way about something so trivial as a frankly ridiculous public family feud between two grown musicians that are public figures, what's left for the important stuff. Anyway, I suspect sales of Liams new album will take something of a dive, and we'll se if they are willing to he held to their word. And I no longer care if I'm called The Liam hater or whatever.
