Sorry if discussed already but, this lyrics are about Noel aren't they? I think they’re about Andy Bell. Liam said that in a recent interview.

@let It Bleed: F**k off. Didn't Liam shoot a video for Shockwave in Budapest or somewhere? What are they waiting for?

Hope you're wearing a tin hat pal Not needed. He’s evaluating a song he’s heard a good chunk of, not an album he’d heard nothing of. You got a problem with me or something? You just argue every time I post Anything. Was having a laugh. Fuck off

Most normal human beings grow out of this phase by their early 20s. Anybody over the age of about 22 who still carries on like this is a prize nobhead of the highest order and needs their head kicking in. You sound like a prize nobhead yourself saying people need their heads kicking in tho haha, maybe focus on growing out of your own phase If it was up to me they'd be euthanised while they slept but I'm willing to wager that if most of them got a good beating, they'd calm down with their antics and grow up considerably.

he wants people who haven't grown up to have their heads kicked in Do you not subscribe to the notion that a stern beating can teach you a few life lessons? Most, if not all, of the Liam Gallagher wannabes who I have experienced are mentally immature, boorish, piss flingers who clearly never learned what it is like to be a grown up, and normally end up ruining the fun for everyone and anyone around them with their nobheadery, while unironically citing "it's rock n roll m8" as an excuse for their behaviour. By the way I'm not talking about all Liam fans here, far from it. I'm referring to the type of people that OP referred to in their post i.e. the people who want to actually be Liam.

We're about two midgets short of a freak show in this thread.....just kidding.
That's what my cousin said to me when he visited me in jail once, him referring to the other people in the visitor's section.....that made me laugh.
My cousin's my best friend, I've known him forever, he's two months older than me.....I don't have a brother; I have a sister, we're not close. Most brothers are close, most sister's are close, or, have a lot history, normally....
I don't feel comfortable talking or care about Líam and Noël's relationship, or, their personal lives.....as long as they're not pedophiles; I just listen to the music, care about their cats, and party.....
Thanks.

It's possible Liam and Noel got wasted one weekend and recorded cover versions of every Beatles song over the course of two days. Neither they nor anybody else can remember them doing this but it would make a great box set if it actually happened. Can somebody contact Noel or Liam for a quote? I'm setting up a petition to have this released. I would love for you to post a pic of your cat. Thanks.

Liam Gallagher discliples calling out threats of violence. And I'm the one accused of lacking irony.
Ah good times.

Theyre not getting any younger either. They won't wanna leave it 3 years at a time anymore. Album no.5 theyll be both bald. I dont think noel will be bald, he has too much hair to be bald by that time. I love these forums. Probably the only place in the world where Noel Gallagher chances of being bald are discussed. I'm suprised more people haven't mentioned Liams hair yet. It's clearly gonna be gone by next album cycle. Needs to get on the phone to Rooneys transplant men. He could have waited until 2020 and released bold as a standalone single called Bald.

This video should have been about a bully, or bullies, getting their comeuppance. Whether it be kids in a playground, or whatever. I'm not sure what this big, glam video is doing attached to a Liam tune. Zero relevance. Just the director trying to make a statement. The director is most definitely a pathetic little twat.

Never bothered about the music (promo) video to be honest. If song is good, it's more than enough for me. I haven't watched Shockwave video yet, but I don't see why some people have to have a big deal of it. This is about making Liam's music more popular, not about what's ''enough'' for you or for me. We will listen to Liam's music even if the music video was about Liam walking around in a Stone Island parka making pistol signs with his hands... oh, wait... By the way, are you the person who calls/views herself as ''bootleg queen'', but still got annoyed when I asked if someone could record LG's debut concert a week ago or so? If so, next time you write a post, I guess you might use your brain first. You seem like a retarded person.

...The ”Shockwave” video is useless... It’s not useless, it’s a little more than ok and it served it’s purpose. It’s just a music vid. Is all. Relax. Everytime anyone has an opinon or discuss anything on this forum, there are always 10 people saying ''relax''. How much weed do people smoke in here?

No, but the thread was meant to be about making Liam's videos and songs more popular, not about making hardcore fans like the video more. But I guess I wasn't clear enough in my original post. if you release the video before the song, more people are going to take a look. I thought my post was clear. Liam's kind of music is not popular in the current music scene. and thank god about that if you want a video to be popular have a colaboration with a raggeaton shit singer and have a bunch of girls dance in bikini and there you go. popular, tons of views and a lot of new fans! yay Please try to write a less predictable and lazy comment. At least try. Yes, we all know and fully understand that you hate ''raggeaton shit'' and the ''current music scene'' that you apparently know a lot about. Very interesting. As I have already written in another thread: Liam has proven to Warner that he can sell tickets, that he can sell out stadiums, that he can attract sponsors, and that there is a good return on investing in him. He has also had two years to build up a decent following on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram (and, since earlier, Twitter). Despite this, he cannot seem to improve on the chart position from last time. I imagine they invested more cash in the songwriting this time(?), now that the investors already have the evidence available that Liam is a decent investment and now that he has already established himself as a solo artist? Or maybe I am wrong. But maybe Warner just want to play it safe and not make any risky moves at all, and maybe their only priority is to ensure that every hardcore fan buys a ticket for the upcoming tour (and possibly a Stone Island parka). I don't know. But I hope the next single has a better video that aims also for a broader audience. I know many people who liked several songs on As You Were, but would never have heard about it if I didn't play them. I know for a fact that none of them would ever watch a video of Liam walking around in a Stone Island parka making pistol signs. Why not try something new? Are the Warner people that afraid of taking risks?

Paul Gallagher doing his best Allman Brothers impersonation in the background. Not only does he have to put up with Liam and Noel being his brothers, he has to deal with being a big fat mess.

To me, that might just as well be viewed as a failure. Liam has proven to Warner that he can sell tickets, that he can sell out stadiums, that he can attract sponsors, and that there is a good return on investing in him. I know many people who liked several songs on As You Were, but would never have heard about it if I didn't play them. I know for a fact that none of them would ever watch a video of Liam walking around in a Stone Island parka making pistol signs. Why not try something new? Are the Warner people that afraid of taking risks? Nah. WOG had so many views mostly because it was showed across the world as a HUGE comeback of Liam (well, it was true), as the beginning of his solo career. It was obvious that his new album and new single won't have so many views etc, so Shockwave is on really amazing position if you think about that. It means that people still want to hear Liam and still there is a hype and sales, not on the WOG streaming level though because of obvious reasons I wrote on my first sentence. (IMO) Cheers I guess endstation got banned, because of a comment that insulted mimmihopps. Other people that wrote similar insults did not get banned, I guess because they never raise any criticism about Liam etc, but I guess this is how this forum works and I will not start a fight over that.. but I think this is an interesting discussion and since endstation will not be able to reply I will try instead... you might be right about your assessment. I might be naive. However, as I wrote in another thread, capitalist firms and shareholders in partnership with artists often choose strategies with low risk and a high return, instead of strategies with a higher risk and even greater return (if successful). That’s basic industrial organization theory and the empirical evidence supports this view. It’s not really ”bonkers” (as one user called it) to think that Warner thinks that way, it’s simply a quite plausible strategy for risk averse investors and shareholders. Is it bonkers to point out that e.g. private capitalist firms do not invest, and historically have not invested, enough money in R&D for revolutionary new drugs (most huge breakthrough drugs have resulted from government funded basic research). They spend most R&D money on lifestyle drugs. However, in that case, I guess it’s more about positive externalities that are not captured by individual private agents. But the main point remains: Market actors often choose strategies that are good for risk averse or risk neutral shareholders, but there is no law saying that this is the best strategy for Liam in the long run. Of course, it’s better than not having any partnership with Warner at all. But he might still have gained more if Warner chose another strategy. I guess this was actually what endstation tried to say in one earlier comment in the other shockwave video thread.. now, it is also possible that the actual strategy of Warner IS actually the best one for Liam and that you are 100% correct... but I guess(?) it’s intersting to think about

The other day I was YouTube searching a shampoo I was interested in, and a clip of 'As Cats Was' came up, and I clicked and watched it.....Líam was drinking from a coconut, Bonehead was in it, the unfamous Gallagher brother was in it......a little too dramatic for me.
Is everyone in the U.K. a drama queen, or literally a Queen?
Líam has no one to blame for his problems but himself.....he's the youngest child, who's never really worked a day in his life, and has only heard the word 'no' only a few times in his life.....I can relate to some of that.
Debbie, his girlfriend comes off as really likable in the clip I saw, though....
Thanks.
