Thanks for investigating so thoroughly but when the mods carry out their investigation you will be proved to be incorrect. I will not be banned, plenty before me have done far worse and plenty after me will do far more. If i am banned it will only be due to the mods attempting to silence me and keep the order and pretence from being blown. I believe the FBI did a similar thing with John Lennon when they tried to get him deported simply for speaking sense and demanding answers. |

I am very successful in the real world (you know, that place outside your room) and earn more money in a year than what most people earn in a lifetime. I couldnt care less how I'm perceived on an insignificant internet forum, these things are for just a bit of fun. At the end of the day, I will be retiring young with more money than I could ever hope of spending in my account and you will likely still be here complaining about something insignificant. The Noel fan boy BS is getting old. You love Noel, great. You love Liam, great. You want to argue about who was the most essential member of Oasis, fantastic. That's why we have a fan forum. However I really don't see why it has to become a blood bath and resort in name calling. I have on many occasions posted comments on Noel that were not always the most flattering, some people have agreed, other disagreed and that's that. A lot of them are actually people who I've been friendly with over the years in and out of this forum.
As for the "Mods' cliques", there is none. Most mods on here have been long time members and know each other well as well as other members who joined around the same time. Mods on here like to interact with members who bring something positive to the forum and not people who should be on tranquilizers. We're here to relax, have a laugh and talk about topics we care about, not babysit people who have anger issues.
Oh yeah and Webby is pretty tolerant so I really don't think he or we are being unfair. You should see how other forums are ruled, you get a mod on your back for hardly anything. Be grateful.

Plain and simple, there are no consequences for any of the bullshit that goes on around here. That's why it's become such a huge problem. Nothing ever happens to anyone. I get that 95% of the time people can generally police themselves so "webbie" doesn't think he has to get involved, but the past few months have really gotten out of hand and call for some form of action to let people know that certain behavior will not be tolerated. It's a joke. You've had so many people complain yet nothing gets done and now some people have "warning level 99%" badges on them? Will it take another 6 months of crap before they're banned? Mods should temporarily have the ability to ban people. Not only could they put out fires quickly but they could shut down all the extra alt accounts and fix the karma spamming as well. Problem(s) solved. |
