I'm 17 in May and from Birmingham in England and got into Oasis around the Heathen Chemistry release time. I'm not a mad music lover and only really listen to Oasis still now but i got into them because from some random reason i heard the guitar riff to Hindu Times on the TV and just loved it and wanted to know all i could about Oasis so i went and brought Morning Glory, D.M, SOTSOG and the 2 dvd live shows and haven't looked back since. I do love Oasis and im not ashamed to admit that when people ask me what i'm listening to on my walkman when they are listening to r n b and rap. I get a few wierd looks when i tell them some times but who cares. I soooo wish i was into Oasis around the 'prime time' but then again at least people can't say i just jumped on the fashion wagon which i suppose a lot of people did and i bet a lot don't even listen to them anymore because they are not fashionable. I'm gradually getting to know most of the stuff i missed out on all them years ago and i'll be in the Milton Keynes Bowl on the Sunday show in July screaming my head off during Live Forever, having my arm around my mate for Champagne Supernova, moshing to Cigarettes & Alcohol and getting all the words wrong to the new songs, lol. ;D In Oasis I trust!

I got into Oasis when I was about 9 or so and that was b/c my sister told me to give them a listen (she was 14 at the time). I'm 20 now, so I say anyone who's 18 and under I applaud for finding out about this band. Welcome to the club

i'm 15 and got really into oasis when i was 12. but i remember being like 7 or 8 and listening to bhn oasis clips and loving them, but i was young and didnt have much interest in music. same when i was 10 and sotsog was out, i downloaded oasic classics and listened to them always, but still i didnt have much interest in music. when heathen chemistry was out i was 12 and there i bought all the cds, downloaded every bside and well, they are still are my favourite band. but with oasis i got into all these other class bands like beatles, pink floyd, the stone roses, the verve, the doors, rolling stones, maybe if i had never listened to oasis i would never listen to what i listen now, cause i dont have brothers, nor parents or cousins who listen to music, so, its all beacuse of oasis.

well im 17 this is my fucking story for who's intrested:
last year went to a friend of mine to get loaded. Well the geezer putted on wonderwall at on time and i was hooked. you know what i mean. I already had married with fucking children and bring it on down but they were send to my by msn so i wasn't like a fucking oasis-junk you know. So i started looking on my fucked up computer and well i liked what i fucking heard you know what i mean.
Before i ran into the greatest band in the world (oasis for all the fucking arses) i already was a fan of the beatles, the verve, the stones and a lot of other shit from the british isles.
Well i punched my little brother around and well he heard the fucking sound out of my speakers and was an addict as well. you know what i mean
and the story end's with ME buying the definitly maybe dvd today....... at least for today.... (if you know waht i mean)

Heh, for anyone that takes a read, I was 16 and in chemistry class with my friend who was a senior at the time. We got out early and i went to his dorm (prep school) and I saw a poster on the wall. It was a poster of oasis like in the who feels love sand dunes or whatnot and he let me have a listen to them on his computer. From then on out I began downloading little tidbits at a time from don't look back in anger to supersonic and I kept trying to find a song I didn't like. I was reluctant to declare that I in fact had found a favorite band but there was no buts about it. I was mad fer it! Anyways kept downloading buying cds/dvds and now at 17 my friend and I have spared no expense to get 3rd row to msg and tickets to the Philly SHow it';ll be my first concert ever and I have a feeling itll be fooking brillant. Now that my friend has gone to college I am one of the few people in my school who has all 6slots in my cd changer filled with ntohing but oasis ( I even cancelled XM because they didn't have enough) Anyways can't wait for the new album its gonna be proper.
