Why did he left the band? I read a strange story about a fight with Noel cos he didn't want to apologize for throwing a bucket of water to someone in a hotel or something like that...

I've never heard anything about a fight between Noel and Bonehead over a bucket of water being thrown. From what I can remember in his statement he released, it was because he was tired of the lifestyle and wanted to spend time with his family. Oddly enough, shortly after his depature from Oasis he joined/formed another band.

he did refuse to apologise for for breakin into peoples rooms at 2/3 in the morning so noel did it too him and he wasnt best pleased and it spiralled from there i think

He was also supposed to be waving bottles of lager in Liams face when they were trying to keep him of the bevy for a couple of weeks!

As Noel said at the time 'It's hardly Paul leaving the Beatles'

its true ,about the spat with noel i saw a interview with boney and he basically said the chief had ordered everyone to abstain from drinkin whilst recording sotsog so as to not tempt LIAM.. bonehead dident feel he should have to abstain and thats when he raided LIAMS room in the hotel and the shit hit the fan,,NOEL says he has not spoken to him since then even though he holds no grudge, and BONEHEAD has said that he has spoken to LIAM but not the chief ,,he also msaid there was no ill feelings and it was just time to move on

It's too bad really. I found Bonehead really fit in with the band and what they were all about.

yeah. It's kinda sad. They were just a couple of lads who were about making music. It kinda says that Noel and Liam are all that are important.

i think that it was time for guigs and bonehead to leave when they did... they fit in fine for the first few albums, but after the backlash that was BE HERE NOW, i think noel realized to take the band to the next level (in studio and live) he needed more 'gifted' musicians.... nothing against bone and guigs, but face it, neither of them could handle some of the new tunes the lads have came out with.... i think noel wanted the sound to mature and the band did...... my two cents.

agreed guigsy wasnt the greatest bass player in the world i spoke to him at a dj night in brum last year and he refused to talk of oasis other than to say he had a great time
both him and bonehead had reached the peak of their game by sotsog and therefore had to go as noel and liam are still raising the bar they need better musicians to keep up

By the time they quit the band, I guess the whole 'dynamic' of the band had changed, but without Bonehead and Guigs there would be no Oasis.

I don't think Andy was a better bass player than Guigsy, it's just that Andy is a different kind of player. He plays the bass as if he's playing lead guitar. I think Guigs fit in well and could pull it off live and in the studio.

agreed guigsy wasnt the greatest bass player in the world i spoke to him at a dj night in brum last year and he refused to talk of oasis other than to say he had a great time Apparently George Harrison got pissed off when people saw him on the street and only wanted to talk about The Beatles, but used to love it when they asked about his solo stuff.
