For what it's worth I filed a bug report with TopSpin about the problem. Hopefully it gets escalated to whoever runs NG.com and it gets sorted soon. Looks like we're getting there.... the links now do something, but they're linked to DOYAM instead of WAL! Ok UK gang. It's working fine at last. I've been successfully able to purchase WAL. *Phew*! |

From Wikipedia (so it must be true!) - Noel Gallagher wrote "Live Forever" in 1991, while working for a building company in his hometown of Manchester. After his foot was crushed by a pipe in an accident, he was given a less-strenuous job working in the storeroom, allowing him more time to write songs. One night he was listening to The Rolling Stones' album Exile on Main St. While playing one of his own chord progressions, Gallagher noted that it sounded good against one of the vocal melodies from the album: "It was the bit from 'Shine a Light' that goes [sings], 'May the good lord shine a light on you,'" Gallagher recalled. Gallagher incorporated the melody, changing the line to "Maybe I don’t really want to know".  |

I don't really follow single releases these days.
Is the staggered release of formats now common practice?
I'm guessing in this case they brought the digital release forward to piggy back promotion from the TV ad...?

Complaining about Noel ripping off other tunes makes as much sense as complaining about the weather. It's going to happen. No big deal. As long as it's good I don't care a bit.
Glad to hear that it is coming out soon. I really want to see this video.
