Does anyone else think that Noel is actually singing "in my MIND"? I just can't get my head around why Noel would say 'mouth', it's just stupid, makes no sense and brings the whole song down for me, in what should be an epic chorus. Doesn't seem at all right. Either..
We are mis-hearing what he is saying, due to the poor quality of the demo leak
Or he actually is saying 'mouth' but only coz it was a rough demo and was just messing about with the lyrics until he could think of some better lyrics
Sorry, I just can't imagine this line being including on an official release. Literally makes no sense, as the rest of the lyrics are great and are meaningful. If he actually comes out with "I wanna picture the world and everyone inside my mouth" on the final version I will be surprised!

I know he has come out with worse lyrics, but they are usually in non-sensical themed songs like Supersonic etc, but this one just sticks out horribly and hope he fixes it or we are just mis-hearing it. Want this song to be as good as it can be as everything else about it is fantastic (as a demo!!)

Considering he makes reference to "taste" and "spit it out" straight after that line I think it's fairly obvious he's saying mouth.

I'll probably be skipping that song anyway.

I'll probably be skipping that song anyway. You might as well just skip the whole album. I don't know why but I have a funny feeling that you'll hate it.

I feel the same way about the "inside my mouth" bit. Lyrically it does fit, but it's always seemed too silly for me. Other than the chorus, I really like the song.

I think i'd get over it but I hope it is changed as well.
It'll be in the running for his worst line in my books...maybe after but I'll probably need a phone in Take Me Away.
If it's a great song it'll be a pity for something so small to bring it down.

I think they're amazing lyrics, it's about how putting on a record and listening to music invigorates all of the senses not just your hearing. He could change it to that i suppose, i wanna piece of the world and everyone inside my ears but it seems a little obvious would you not agree?
Can't wait for this song, the demo is one of my favourite noely g songs of all time, so maybe i'm biased

This is ridiculous. Hes talking about the novelty of listening to an album for the first time. "in my mouth" to me is a great lyric. He feels so big that he can just eat up everyone. Id put those lyrics against If I had a gun any day. "build a little fire where its cold" is incredible. Also, he uses "in my mouth" to service "is a matter of taste"

I'm pretty sure it's "I want a piece of the world and everyone inside my mouth" (not "I wanna picture"), which makes more sense. I quite like it.

The hand wringing over this lyric, imo, is pretty silly. I'm one Noel's harshest critics when it comes to his lazy lyrics, but the chorus of RM isn't within 10 miles of being his worst lyric. I think, it's reasonably imaginative and sounds pretty good in its context.
The first four lines of TDOYAM are far worse lyrics, for example...

The first four lines of TDOYAM flow very nicely and aren't that bad. He should change the lyrics because now I want to really know how much he can get of peoples in his mouth hahah
