Sounds immense. A bit like Kasabian with much better melody, can't wait for this tune.

The website says "Preview of the Advert" . . . there's a good chance there is an extended advert that will be shown in the future. Also, is it possible to get one of those cars in the US?

Fuck yes.
Although it's nothing what I envisioned it to be, it's still pretty good. I was thinking of it as an up-beat fast-paced discoish song, with BTL styled drumming. This is far more darker, but just as good.

Not quite sold on this one just yet. Don't hate it but don't love it either judging from this cllip.

exactly, so now fans of a band that came to prominence in the 90's and put out their best stuff(songs/albums) in the 90's are saying people should reject 90's music ? absolutely hilarious stuff. Sorry but the fanboyism(impossible to keep avoiding the use of that word) from some of the regular users is more than evident and denying it only makes it more obvious. ANywho... I like other types of music for the record. I like bands that sound nothing like Oasis and i like actual singers. I can appreciate other stuff but i don't rate it as high as Oasis' best tunes.
My point is this was a disappointment. I don't have to do anything, other than criticize the album as the fan that i am. If i don't like something i have every right to say so.
a few other things:
@excremntscream : don't waste your time, no one gives a shit about what you have to say, matter fact, no one here likes you. Actually make that, everyone here dislikes you... a LOT, lol
@gdfroever: You mean like... Texans who prentend they are british and like to use words like "rubbish" or "arse"? I agree, those people are fucking pathetic.
@deasy: boy you got terrible OWND. try harder next time.

You say you're entitled to an opinion but as soon as someone responds they're slammed as "fanbois"? That makes no sense at all. To be honest you sound more like a wound up premenstrual schoolgirl trying too hard to start an argument than a fan expressing his opinion.

lgfaver can't defend his opinions so he resorts to the insults and name calling. predictable.
If you aren't willing to engage with the predominant issue that people had with your comments, that it sounds like the same genre as Lady Gaga, then why bother posting a rebuttal?
Instead you conveniently ignore all the valid challenges and insult people.

Does anyone else get pissed when the clip ends?
It feels like it is just getting going and then silence.

Why do your posts always resort to bringing Noel's work down a peg or two to the level of Beady Eye's? All the songs heard are waaaay better than anything Beady Eye have done - it's not fanboyism it's just fact. Broaden your horizons because you seem scared of any song that veers slightly away from your beloved dad rock.

I think Monobrow is correct in suggesting this could be an edited version and that the epic chorus to end the clip is actually the last chorus on the actual track. The clip likely highlights the climax for the song.
Still amazing, but I'm hoping that is actually the first 90 seconds of the clip "in tact" and that it really takes off later in the song.

I remember how they edited Kasabian's "Underdog" for the Sony Bravia commercial. I'm pretty sure there's lot more in "What a Life" than we can hear in this short clip.

For those wondering, I'm 99% sure the "guitar solo" is included in the clip. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

For those wondering, I'm 99% sure the "guitar solo" is included in the clip. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. No chance. The review says that "piercing electric guitars" link the verse to the chorus. Those are the riffs we can hear in the video. I'm certain that there is a proper "guitar solo".
