Correct- it was the toughest 2-3 weeks ever until DOYS leaked in full but it was well worth it.

I've listened to the RM and STC demos as much as anyone since they leaked. I just don't want to play them to death now that I know finalized versions of these songs will appear on the album.

Listening to a demo or a soundcheck is different than listening to 30 second clips incessantly of the finished versions.

I don't think listening to the clips affected my experience with the DGSS. I'll probably listen to their next albums clips too

However having been listening to the IIHAG sound check for 2 years did affect my experience with that. But there is nothing I can do, short of brain damage, to forget the plays of RM, EOTR, and STC. Especially RM.

I might try to avoid them for Noel since the leaks/soundchecks have already compromised so much of the surprise. There are only 5 songs that I haven't heard anything of.

I'll not just avoid these clips but any leaks too. Can't beat getting the album in your hands on release day and blasting it for the first time.

If I lived in North America like many of you I suppose it would indeed be a different story.

I get the same excitement hearing the leaked songs for the first time as i would if i waited for the album to come out properly. I'll still buy the album 100% but i cant wait for it to leak

Its like being a kid and a month before xmas 'would you like your presents early ?' 'hell yeah' ! I wouldnt be a 'square' and say 'no no i'll wait till the 25th Dec' !

Again the excitement i got when the DOYS songs were released late one night, or when DGSS finally leaked was brilliant. Think its very old fashioned to wait nowadays when you get leaks all over the net.

As long as the person still buys the album i think leaks are great, cant wait for Noels album to leak
