I remember that before we had heard anything from Noel, a lot of people were doubting if it would be nice to listen to an album with only Noel sung songs. (I think everyone agrees that Noel writes brilliant songs, but Liam has got an amazing voice which defined Oasis.) So far we've heard TDOYAM, IIHAG and TGR. Other than that we've also heard RM (which is believed to be pretty close to the demo), STC and the soundcheck of EOTR. That makes 6 Noel sung songs. I really like IIHAG, the melody is very good and verses are beautiful. I also like TDOYAM but it's not groundbreaking. I still can't remember the words/melody after hearing it a million times And I don't really like TGR. EOTR is epic already and STC and RM are good too. All in all I'm looking forward a LOT to this album BUT, there's one big BUT that I didn't have with Beady Eye. When I listen to IIHAG it makes me sad thinking that it could've been an Oasis song. I'm pretty sure Liam could've sang it. And Noel could do it acoustic on gigs. Now we only ever get the Noel version, which makes me sad as I really love Liams voice. (I didn't have this feeling with TDOYAM or TGR though..) So, to conlcude, I'm still not quite sure about the 'whole Noel sung album', cause it makes me miss Oasis more. It's more different from Oasis than Beady Eye is. I'm hope I'll be proven wrong on this, but this is how I feel now..

In my opinion, Liam used to have a great voice. Would I have loved the Liam of 95 belting out IIHAG? Sure, but these days I don't think Liam's vocals would improve this sort of track.

But its sad hearing this song (and maybe others as Liam said he sung on them) and knowing 'what could have been' with a potentially great new Oasis album. Noel admits now he should have just gone away for a bit and let things cool down instead of the big split. Still sad that Oasis have split. But i hope Noels album is huge and Beady Eye come back with a great album. Quite sad to see the divided 'camps' here on the forum, its like we're fans of Take That and are arguing about who our favourite is ! Hope Noel/Beady Eye both do really well
