I was at work all day and kept reading all these positive feedback about the song and I couldn't wait to hear it. I never heard the sound checks properly. I love TDOYAM, its catchy and I have played it over and over.
Anyways I read alot of "its better than TDOYAM" and that sparked my interest even more. I finally heard the song and acourse hype never lives up but I don't see why all the praise? Its not a terrible song but at this moment it isnt a song that I would play over and over. Maybe I'll warm up to it.
The things that bother me about this song is what has been discussed by a few. I really like how it starts off but the guitars are too aggressive when they kick in and I feel it doesnt fit the mood of the song. As well I dont think there is anything that quite pulls me in.
Does anyone else feel the same way??
Ps. I really do want to love this song

I personally like the punchiness. It would be boring if it was just acoustic. Wonderwall had the same thing.

I went to bar trivia with a good friend that described it as lame. But he's an Austin hipster so he doesn't like any band that's had more than a couple successful albums.

Sorry "cheesy" is how he described it. Personally I give it a 9/10. But then again Dylan wouldn't get a love song (Fucker hasn't been laid in ages).
