After listening to the songs we've already heard off the forthcoming Lp, a question arose; What will the gigs be like? I mean, Oasis was a rock band so you had all the guys up on stage, however most of Noel's stuff sounds like all he's going to need is his acoustic guitars, drums and some keys. What I'm saying is, it appears as if his gigs will be acoustic, don't really see a full rock n roll type of gig/atmosphere taking place. I'm envisioning his STC tour he did w/Gem. Thoughts?

Me too, and the TCT concert.
Record Machine is a rockin' song though, so he'll need the gear that for that.

I doubt that it's going to be TCT-like. Noel hows to plan a set.
It'll be more well balanced than that IMO.

He needs to bring back the electric version of DLBIA. It's an absolute travesty we haven't heard it since the Brits.

There better be a full drum kit on stage... Gem had an electric during the acoustic shows. With the ticket prices there better be a fucking small orchestra behind him too!

Im forking over $100 for LA plus $100 for the Frisco gig, $350 for hotel accommodations and about another $300 for food/merch/libations and herbal medication....hey when in the Emerald Triangle. for all this I sure hope it is like the MG set up, that looked pretty kick-ass. |

i can't imagine it being anything like the TCT gigs, this is his own songs he needs to push, he's not just playing new arrangements of Oasis songs. I don't think he's going to go full acoustic, especially with the details given about the HFB.

Lord Jesus Christ, Noel doing the Liam dance, FML I'd probably piss my self at the gig. I can already see him now, skinny leather pants, see through silk shirt, and his mike stand like Steven Tylers... In all seriousness, I'm guessing some rad light displays, since the jumbotrons won't be needed in these smaller venues, some stage props, like in BHN, would look cool. Hopefully he can match Liams steady interaction with the crowd. The way L&N neglected the fans during gigs on the DOYS tour, was not cool. There wasn't too much banter they rarely spoke to eachother on stage...be aces if Noel gave some deets about songs as he goes along his set. |

I'd imagine Noel will be a lot happier now that he is on his own. I think some great banter is bound to happen. |
