Anyone else curious about this song? One of the only songs we've heard absolutely NOTHING about. If the song is as good as the title then it should be fuckin' great.

I think the title is a bit rubbish.
If the real tracklisting had been leaked I'd have disbelieved it on the back of that title alone.
Maybe it's because it makes me think of Soulja Boy.
I'm sure the song is fine and it'll come into itself. But I need some context to like it.
I also hated to TV line before I heard TDOYAM...and now it's great. I love that bit.

If the title is any indication of the lyrical content, he is clearly talking about Republicans/Conservatives who tend to support military intervention and who tend to be religious. I highly doubt Noel would hold views and/or write a song that criticizes soldiers who have fought for the rights we have today and who are currently protecting our society as we speak. But regardless, I think it's pretty stupid to try to read into lyrical content from just the mere title.

I thought Noely said it was about people meeting each other in war? Soldier Boys vs. Jesus Freaks? No?

Do re-read my last sentence. I agree that it's silly to try to infer a meaning from it, but I was trying to counter XTRM's point of view with a more plausible inference.

Didn't Noel explain what this was about already in an interview a few weeks ago?
