Just popped in my head how much this urinates all over anything BDI. I know, shocking. Just occured to me, that. You really think that? If people thought BDI uninspiring this to me is standard Noel fare tbh. Another plodder. |

sounds from the start like it's going to lead in from another song which i liked about doys...i love it think its a tune - i never listened much 2 the demo version tho so came at it knowing it was a good song but i hadnt grown attached to that version ...amazing

A truly great song. Right up there with Noel's best. TDOYAM was a nice little tune, but it was still near-peak NG, more POTQ than DLIBIA or SA. This one is a classic.
For those who like the soundcheck version better...you still have the soundcheck version to listen to. Unrealistic to think that Noel would make the first US single sound like a soundcheck.

If it was stripped down people would probably be complaining that it sounds too much like the soundcheck and that he has been lazy not to add anything more to it.

Not as good as TDOYAM but I absolutely adore TDOYAM. Can see it being pretty successful if it's marketed well, can't wait to hear an acoustic version though and love the way he says 'away'.
