I just saw The Death of You and Me play on our local music channel. Beady Eye didn't air here in the Philippines as far as I know.
Was really a shock when I saw it but I was happy. Maybe people here will finally turn to Oasis/Noel.

Beady Eye are cool but it's great to see that the genius behind Oasis was Noel.

Beady Eye are cool but it's great to see that the genius behind Oasis was Noel. Isn't it a bit early to tell? I too can infer from the reviews that the album would be great but the six songs are possibly the six best songs. We've yet heard nothing about tracks 7-9 so I am a bit worried about those three. There's no reason for it though.

Not taking anything away from LAG and other members of Oasis as they bring their own attributes to the cause, but it's common knowledge Noel was the genius behind Oasis......

But I'm not sure if Noel still is. Tunes like TT and TSOTL make me believe you, and my intuition tells me this album will be definitely good and might even surpass BHN in my favorite album list. But it's not bad at all to stay a bit skeptical.
