Name a better more consistent songwriter than Noel in the last 20 years who is not dead.

thats a tough question...do they belong OBVIOUSLY

but u need to be at least 25years after your first lp to be considered which means that they wont be considered til 2019 ....its all politics really if the same people vote then that vote now then no they wont get in cause they pissed so many people off that they would suffer backlash from those twats....but in 2019 there will be new people in charge and most likly will be unbiased so there chanced should improve dramaticlly

PERSONALLY I think OASIS will be more loved by the mainstream as time goes by much the same way as LED ZEP when ZEP were around the critics slagged them off cause they threatened the stones who were the darlings of the press same with OASIS ,,,i think in time the critics will revisit there work and OASIS will be remenbered as they should be A ALL TIME GREAT BAND

i explained it several times: oasis is my favourite rock and roll band, they were the best till be here now. after that album, i think the characteristic sound of the band has changed, and i'm not saying that the magic has gone (noel still writes glorious songs, liam also is getting better and better) but, the best moment was the beginning till be here now...then...
