OASIS stars NOEL and LIAM GALLAGHER are teaming up for a new venture - as hosts of a boozy Christmas (04) party.

The warring brothers are setting aside their quarrels and have paid out a massive $19,000 (GBP10,000) on alcohol for the bash taking place at the London house Liam shares with his pop beauty girlfriend NICOLE APPLETON.

However, Nicole and her famous sister NATALIE - wife of THE PRODIGY star LIAM HOWLETT - are spending the festive period in the company of their family in Canada, so they'll miss out on the function the Gallaghers have organised to thank family and friends for a fantastic 2004.

A source says, "They want to pay tribute to their family and friends for all their help and hard work. It's just a shame Nicole and Natalie won't be there.

"Liam thought he'd get everyone over to his place and celebrate in style. He loves nothing better than a good party. He has even hired two butlers to wait on people. There will be no shortage of food and drink."
