I've just been talking to the guy who handles press for Ocean Colour Scene and he says there's a "strong possibility" that Liam will feature on their new album "Hyperactive Workout For The Flying Squad" due out next April time.
Which is nice.

Liam has actually already sung with The Scene.
They (with Noel on guitar) did a version of Daytripper at an OCS gig back in '96ish.
It's on OCS' B-sides album (B-sides, Seasides and Free Rides) but I'm sure you'd find it on Kazaa or somewhere.
It's quite rough (maybe they'd been boozing?) but it's worth a listen.

id recomend having a listen to moseley shoals.
Its 3 of there best songs on it and as an album over all its very good

Dude, Oasis is being quite sociable with other artirsts... I mean those last months we've seen then with Ian Brown, Prodigy, and there are all those rumors about playing with Ringo Star, Nine Inch Nails, now Ocean Color Scene... that's fucking nice!

It said on OCS official website a while back that they recorded a cover of a George Harrison song with Liam.
I can't remember what song they said it was though.
Carnation is probably the best collaboration between Liam and the Scene.

never materalised dont think not the first time a member of oasis has performed with the ocs boys noel played poacher with them and weller and also daytripper a few times too for those who havent heard ocs theres a great live album out called one for the road is superb i promise or i will give you your money back
