derived from the other thread i thought i would put this as a stand alone and see what people think first listen at 9:27 to Noel on the piano and now listen to the start of this song which Noel has compared to AKA What a Life is the clip in the docu Noel playing AKA What a Life???

I was thinking this back when he mentioned what song had influenced What A Life!. I think it's probably it. Although Noel was probably just fiddling around with the track back then so that will probably just a basic outline of it.

I hate to be a party pooper, but I really don't think so. Strings of Life is a series of upbeat chords, whereas Noel is playing a descending minor key arpeggio. They don't share any similarities bar the fact they are played on keyboard instruments.
Noel has written songs on piano before (Teotihuacan and Idler's Dream), and I'm sure he has come up with more that we haven't heard. Of course, I could be wrong and I'll be first to admit it if I am.
