Loved the interview in The Sun, the album is going to be immense. Without wanting to ascend to hyperbole, I believe this album will surpass Morning Glory (but not DM).

I sometimes think people forget just how good Morning Glory is, there hasn't been a better album released since. Besides even if he did manage to write 10 songs as good a WTSMG it doesn't have a 22 year old Liam Gallagher singing on it, which automatically bumps any album up at least half a star.

If I had to guess the singles now based on this 3 part video arc it would be:
Single #1: The Death of You and Me (Video Part 2)
Single #2: If I had A Gun (Video Part 1)
Single #3: What A Life (Video Part 3)

From what he said there are 3 singles so 'far', there may be more.

did you this from the sun interview? where does he say this?! From the Birmingham radio station interview (at least I think it was Birmingham) There is a thread called something like Noel interview on Friday or something. I posted the link to the podcast in there.

From what he said there are 3 singles so 'far', there may be more. In the past Noel has stated that 4 or more singles off an album is far too much. I think he prefers 3 singles, especially since there are only 10 songs and he has another album coming out early Summer. Wouldn't be enough time to promote 4 singles in that time frame.

Does anyone else think 'Everybody's on the run', will be a sinlge?
Has 'What a life' been confirmed as a single?
Has 'What a life' been confirmed as a single?

Does anyone else think 'Everybody's on the run', will be a sinlge? Has 'What a life' been confirmed as a single? Has 'What a life' been confirmed as a single? Whilst being presumptious i think EOTR has got classic status written all over it especially the line "hang in there love you gotta hold on" i think its gonna be one of his greatest, with regards to it being a single im not so sure, i would love it to be but i have the impression its too long, grand, and epic to be on the radio etc No other track has been confirmed a single i dont think apart from if i had a gun in the US i believe

I don't think it is planned as one of the original singles. IIHAG is the one with the strongest rumors of being a single. There are only 3 planned. TDOYAM is already a single. IIHAG is probably a single. If EOTR is also a single then 3 of the first 4 songs are singles and that seems a bit odd IMO. Plus Noel has made that comment about the album being a story. And now the videos are a story. TDOYAM is the 2nd installment of 3. I would expect then for one of the singles to come from before TDOYAM in the running order (IIHAG) and 1 to come after TDOYAM.

If, like he said TDOYAM is 2/3 part, WAL is for sure third part of it. I go with this because of one thing: cdn.noelgallagher.com/mceuploads/news/noel-gallagher-the-death-of-you-and-me-video-grab-4-20110723100000.jpg. If like we heard IIHAG is next single and is first part of this triology, surely will begin with black background and white letters "earlier that day" or something similar.

Totally agree. I think Record Machine will be a late single.

I'm pretty sure that you are right about WAL. Plus the fact that he always mentions it in interviews. And he said all the singles are very different. If IIHAG is a ballad what could be more different than the next single being a dance track?
