He should push the album release forward.

is that the one that covered Biffy Clyro once? He should push the album release forward. I certainly wouldn't mind that

Can we get some sort of fucking campaign going to sort this shit out, how bad is it that these days we are scared of an X Factor nobody potentially toppling "Noel Gallagher" off the top of the charts.
I need a lie down

Do x factor contestants albums really do that well? I knew about the Christmas #1...but people are still buying into it a year later?
Even with a new x factor starting up?

JLS, Cher Lloyd, Olly Murs, One Direction, all X factor rejects and all at the forefront of the UK pop scene here dominating the charts, JLS and cher lloyd both have had no.1s in the last few weeks, and their albums do well too.

Noel will only stand a chance of no 1 if his management really go for it on the promotion front and get people talking about him again, some of his classic radio, TV interviews and a some live music building up to it will really help, also another single a few weeks before the album drop would be a good idea

If Cher lloyd can get to number one, Matt Cardle will definitely get a number one. Girls love the prick.

I took a peek. Only 1 of the last 3 X-factor winners had #1 albums and she was a girl.
I just hope that all the UK girls are too busy picking their next favorite male contestant to keep caring about this dude. This is one time that I hope my gender will be as fickle as they possible can be
Although Matt Cardle will presumably get a spot on X-factor guesting the week of the release which if it is anything like American Idol gives the sales quite a boost...particularly since the viewers are pretty much all his demographic. And then with Coldplay coming in the next week if he doesn't get it the first week he won't get #1 at all. Fingers crossed for Noel.
Just reading up. Apparently the Simon Cowell is stepping it up and has signed up this guy as a joint venture with Columbia whereas all the rest of the X-factor winners had been solely on Cowells label. It'll make the guy even harder to beat presumably?

Its actually the rejects that have been more successful than the winners as above, it seems like coming 2nd or 3rd stands you in better stead than actually winning it It would be a truly sad day if it were to happen, i will find the nearest flag and set it half mast for the week

From Blur to Matt Cardle - that is a shocking decline in listening habits. Proof that mankind is becoming thicker.

The previous winner Joe McElderry only reached number three with his album, so Noel can beat Matt Cardle. It won't be easy, especially when he performs his single on the X Factor live shows, but it'll be easier than Beady Eye coming up against two of the year's biggest sellers - Jessie J and Adele. Disappointing news though.

Maybe Simon is still bitter about Noel turning him down for x-factor.
Maybe Joe will do that stupid manufactured thing of moving it forward because of high demand or whatever.

He needs to release Record Machine two weeks before the record drops.
