Do you think Noel is going to be mostly play rhythm or lead guitar?
He's said before that he isn't a hugely gifted guitar player and it can be a hassel for him to try and sing and play lead guitar @ the same time. When he did all the STC gigs with Gem, Gem did all the lead guitar with Noel doing rhythm and Gem and he swtiched back and forth in Oasis. And didn't Gem usually play the lead guitar and Noel rhythm whenever Noel sang tunes. DLBIA and Masterplan etc.
With the fact that this is his solo project he might decide to do it differently. But I think he is gonna be sticking to rhythm guitar.
Which is a bit of a pity. I can't believe that Noel doesn't like playing solos every one in a while. And if he is gonna be singing all the tunes he's gonna have to get used to singing and playing lead.

I think it'll be like it was with Gem. Whilst he sings, he will just play rhythm but if its a major solo or intro/outro then Noel will take that on I guess.
It may not be a big deal at all, I expect the songs to be quite different. He may only have serious lead parts on 3 or 4 tracks.
Interesting to see how Noel does change. I still await the guitars he will use; Gibson? Fender? Rickenbacker?

Didnt he say that there wasnt a solo on the album, so the only tracks where this will become an issue is the oasis songs where i think he will do what he did for the latter oasis tours and only do the rhythm

And #5 is Record Machine, and I'm sure that there will be a solo on it... at least therebetter be!
