Anyone else like this guys music? I guess a lot of people know tunes like: "The first cut is the deepest", "If you want to sing out", "Father & son" and "Morning has broken". I recently downloaded Tea for the Tillerman and Mona Jake Bakon and I found out that this guy is seriously talented. Even his very early stuff is great. Here is one with insane 60's production

love cat stevens. yusuf islam, not so much. why? ask salman rushdie.
"tea for the tillerman" and "teaser and the firecat" are two brilliant albums.

His latest work as 'Yusuf Islam' is pretty poor - just really boring with no melody in my opinion but the guy's got a lot of legendary albums from his peak.

cat stevens great. truth is though he quit music at the right time. he really did run out of material creatively. i mean im sure he had good albums left in him. but it was all becoming very repetitive
