I had some serious arguing with my mate today. In Holland there's this festival called pinkpop. Oasis was there in 2000 (without Noel though) and me and some mates were there too. We went to see Oasis but i was so drunk i could hardly remember anythin' of it, except for finding meself in the toilet after the show, and that Liam and his men were away for about 10 minutes because of the crowd throwing things at 'em. But anyway, the point is, my mate told me that Liam actually sang don't look back in anger that day, and i just couldn't believe it, so i thought, maybe anyone here can give me an answer?
PS I'm new here so please go easy on me (n00b behaviour) ;D

If it was written for Definitely Maybe Liam probably would have sung it (seeing as his voice was so high) but by the time WSTMG? was released his voice was already a lot deeper. He wouldn't be able to reach the high notes. It'd be interesting to see it with lower vocals by Liam although it wouldn't be as powerful as a song.

around the time of morning glory liam could have sung dont look back in anger no bother imo. I think the reason noel sung it was more to do with the fact he just wanted to sing one.

i think the story goes: Noel was showing it to Liam and Liam said who's sally? cos he thought it said sally, but it didn't, so Noel changed it to sally, and the rest is, as they say, history.

Noel asked Liam to choose one: "Wonderwall" or "DLBIA", and Liam took Wonderwall...I think this one is in a Oasis biography.
