Just a heads up, this is the story of my appendectomy back in Jan 2011 and what The Roller has to do with it.
During the first week of 2011 I suffered an appendicitis that caused me to miss most of my indoor track season, but that wasn't the worst of it. My ruptured appendix had sat in my body a week before the signs showed, so when I was taken in the day I felt those terrible pains, I had to have an appendectomy, but it didn't go as plan. My appendix was so infected with fluids and toxins that I had to have all the fluids taken out and my appendix had to stay inside me. For the next few days I got worse and worse, the doctors said I had a very high mortality rate. I lost ten pounds and didn't eat for a week. A week after the surgery I woke up from the pain in my hospital bed and decided to check my facebook and such, Beady Eye was rumored to be releasing The Roller soon, and when I googled the band, sure enough it was released on YouTube. I must have listened to it hundreds of times that night. That song totally changed my output on the situation. I'm not saying it saved my life or anything, but it really helped me get through my problem, and I felt like the song was directed to me, as weird as that sounds. Weeks passed and I slowly recovered, gained my weight back a few months later and I went back to running and got 10th out of 20th in the 2 mile outdoors. I know nobody really cares about what happened to me but I just thought I'd share my story and show appreciation to The Roller and why it is so important to me. Cheers if you read this

Nice one, man!
I had a similar situation, although the outcome was a negative one; my grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer the morning after I first heard The Roller. The song really fit, as he was constantly working (which involved him driving from site to site) and I listened to it on repeat on my way home from the hospital. It gave me a sense of peace and when he died a month later, I listened to it repeatedly thinking about him "rolling" on to wherever it is he went.

Glad you're well! If I had heard Instant Karma, I mean The Roller, I would have probably died of plagiarism.

Their best tune in my opinion.
Lovely pop tune. They should try this style more.
They ain't young lads anymore.
