Oasisnet just put this up on their YouTube channel.
Had we seen good quality video of this before?

I think this video is on the bonus Stop the clocks dvd if i remember.
Would love them to release it on dvd/blu-ray. They must have the rest of the gig in that quality.

^ Yeah, what he said. It'd be a bigger indicator if they released something else from that gig.
Also, is it edited? I seem to remember Liam saying more stuff in between "Hereeee's Johnny!" and the beginning of the lyrics.

The statement of oasisinetofficial under video:"Whilst the gigs have never been officially released the Knebworth bootlegs have become legendary amongst fans, many of which can be found here on YouTube" but yes only CS in STC limited
Just give us full gig *uckers, but I think that they will wait for 20 years from gig.
Video is top..John Squire brilliant. What a night!

On the oasis facebook page: Oasis Knebworth is 15 years old tonight! If you were lucky enough to have been at one of the gigs then share your memories and photos here.
#OasisKnebworth No DVD release apperently...

Horrible Liam vocals, way too nasal. I even prefer a lot of versions from the last tour to this one!

John Squire's guitar solo is shit, to be honest.

It's crazy that Knebworth was 15 years ago. I remember recording it off the radio.
Jeezus.

I was there, this night, 5 people from the very front. You can see me in jill furmanovski's(?) book and on the bio channel doc on oasis. chuffed with that. I'd love them to release this but I agree with whats been said, if you listen to the audience boots, it's a pretty poor gig. Being there was something else entirely though....

It's nice to see a quality video of this, even if it's been knocking around for a few years. They were clearly teasing us with STC by not only printing the lyrics to that song, but also providing this as an extra.....
I prefer the guitar solo at Earl's Court 1995 though. As good as John Squire is, his just doesn't fit the feel of the song.

Yeah, Squire had no business playing at that gig. Noel was clutching at credibility by bringing him in. We wanted to see YOU play, Noel! That's why all those people applied for tickets!
Also, it's crazy how bad Liam sounds on that CS, in contrast to how amazing he sounded on MBM. Unless it was the other night or something?

Horrible vocals?? yeah it was a little nasal but it wasn't bad, it was very acceptable, Liam would sell his mother(or brother ;D) to have this vocals nowdays.

That CS footage was great.
A dvd of that quality would be joyous.

That version was released on the There and Then... CD which came free with the video. As far as I'm aware, there are three songs that have been officially released which are; Champagne Supernova, Cast No Shadow and Columbia.

I think he sounded fantastic on the first night in particular, the bad quality boots don't do him justice. He would sound brilliant on a professional release, I'd bet my left testicle.

Didn't get tickets - and being only 17, wash't allowed to go down on spec and negotiate with a tout. Which seems ridiculous now! I'm serious when I say it's the biggest regret of my life!
