From DGSS, we gathered which songs were written by who and which sessions they originated from (Millionaire being rejected from DOYS, The Morning Son being from five or so years ago etc.), so why not do the same for Noel?
Everybody's on the Run
Leaked during a DOYS tour soundcheck and written in South America.
Dream On
Demoed with Gem towards the end of the DOYS sessions.
If I Had a Gun...
Leaked during a DOYS tour soundcheck, written in South America.
(I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine
First mentioned in Japanese interviews in September 2002, though he said it was "on the backburner" to a Canadian radio station three years later. He said it was about ten minutes long, psychedelic and with loads of guitar solos, comparing it to "Led Zeppelin doing The Beatles" and Champagne Supernova. Recorded for DBTT, it also failed to make DOYS after Liam secretly left to get married. A demo on leaked May 5th 2008.
AKA... What a Life!
Began acoustically, like TDOYAM and TIOBI, and called Ride the Tiger. A piano part was inspired when Strings of Life came at home.
Solider Boys and Jesus Freaks
Written in the US while listening to The Kinks.
AKA... Broken Arrow
Originally titled Leave Me in Peace I'm on the Side of the Angels, it was inspired by listening to Donovan.
Stop the Clocks
Written in Thailand in 2001 about a dream and death, while Liam was recording vocals for SYCHO. He has mentioned it in various interviews since 2002 (first with Tokyo's J-Wave station), most frequently around the title of the 2006 compilation of the same name. Compared to The Masterplan, he said it was seven minutes long and different to any of his other work. It was first played live on May 3rd 2003 at the Zanzibar club in Liverpool, as part of an exclusive five-song semi-acoustic set with Gem and Terry Kirkbride. Recorded for DBTT, it was tentatively slotted in at track seven, between TMOS and POTQ, but did not make it as there were six or seven version of it. He compared it to Champagne Supernova but put its release on the backburner. A year later, a correct version had still not been found for it to be released on the compilation of the same name - with both Liam and Noel recording vocals. He expressed his desire for it to be released in the future, but said it would remain in the vaults due to everybody preferring different versions. He went back on his word that it was his best song ever to The Sun, now saying there were ten different versions, and Liam added, "I don't think it's the best he's written - it's a tune but not his best. He's done about four versions but he's not happy with it so it's a bit of a nightmare." Andy, however, called it "amazing" and the song did finally leak on May 6th 2008.
The Good Rebel
Mentioned during the later Oasis days. NME called it a rumoured title in a May 2003 article about the HC follow-up (to become DBTT), and other similar articles. When asked about it in a supposed Swedish interview, (though no full audio or video has surfaced, only a few sections), he said, "The Good Rebel, yeah! That is a real good demo of that! Sounds like, it sounds like Rain by the Beatles crossed with Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan!"

AKA... What a life and AKA... Broken Arrow were mentioned in '08 indirectly. Paraphrasing. "I have a concept album where each song had the title AKA..."

A Simple Game Of Genius might have originated from that soundcheck
also Noel played a few riffs that sounded like TDOYAM from the last tour too.

We know IIHAG was a work in progress before the South American tour because it was recorded in Taiwan, so that's not completely accurate.
