Went to a Radiohead show at the Skydome in 2003 and it was quite awesome.
Of course the concert had nothing to do with wanking Liam Gallagher off, so it's understandable that beadyeyeunoffical wouldn't have enjoyed it.

You need to get out a bit more, if you think that a Radiohead concert is 'quite awesome'. You're obviously one of those sad bastards who think that the sound of Thom Yorke plinking and plonking a xylophone with a chopstick is bliss. Absolute freak.

Actually, it was a proper rock concert, with guitars and amplifiers and a haze of pot lingering over the crowd. They played recognizable songs and people sang along. And this fun night happened because I didn't take every word that Liam Gallagher said about bands as the unvarnished gospel.
As for getting out more, I'm not the one lying in my room alone with a lifesize poster of LG pinned to my ceiling, "Bring the Light" playing on a constant loop and a jar full of vasoline at the ready.

Actually, it was a proper rock concert Radiohead don't do rock. They do the music to which one watches paint dry. with guitars and amplifiers and a haze of pot lingering over the crowd. Sounds like most Oasis concerts... They played recognizable songs and people sang along. See above. And this fun night happened because I didn't take every word that Liam Gallagher said about bands as the unvarnished gospel. Fun? Fun?! FUN?!?!?!?!?!?!?! To be honest, I think you're a sad bastard who listens to the dreary acoustic shit by the likes of Thom Yorke and Chris Martin, shortly to be followed by Noel Gallagher's Flying Biddies, or whatever he calls himself.

I note with interest that you did not respond to my second paragraph. I guess I must have pegged your daily routine down to the last detail!
Question: if Liam asked you to lick his cornhole, would you use salad dressing or honey mustard sauce?

Question: if Liam asked you to lick his cornhole, would you use salad dressing or honey mustard sauce? ha! he probably wouldn't have asked for sauce, he'd just dive in dry. As much as I'd like to talk about Liam's cornhole, let's get back to the topic. I'd love to see him play Shout It Out Loud, POTQ, and Idler's Dream.

listen to 'bones' by radiohead and then 'for anyone' by BDI and decide for yourself who does rock and who does bland accoustic drivel....
Noel should do Whatever and Cast no shadow. But to be fair as long as he doesnt do she is love he cant go to far wrong..

He needs to stay away from the Liam-sang tunes IMO, save the likes of Whatever, Cast No Shadow, Wonderwall, She's Electric, which he's probably sang more than Liam anyway.
I'd like to see Lord Don't Slow Me Down in there, as the opener.

Would love to hear There Is A Light That Never Goes Out cover aswell Agreed! On another note, who do people think will be the support act or will there be support acts? I may be way too optimistic but what are chances of him doing a concert with Weller or Ashcroft and selling out a massive venue. I have a dream!

So if Noel is only going to play 10 minutes of Oasis songs (4 total he says) at his solo gigs which do you now think he will play?
I'll go with:
1. Don't Look Back In Anger 2. The Masterplan 3. The Importance of Being Idle 4. Half The World Away
I am really pulling for Live Forever but since Noel said he doesn't want to play songs too associated with Liam, I guess that one is out.

I would love for him to pull out one that he hasn't really done mucn of. A b-side, perhaps: Step Out, Rocking Chair, Angel Child... I would assume that he isn't going to havea problem singing a song that Liam orginally sang since he wrote em all.

I really wish he would play Going Nowhere, accompanied by a full blown orchestra. That song never got any love from Noely, and I have no idea why. It's colossal.

But i agree with the other part of the post Going Nowhere has no love from the man himself Well Noel liked 'Going Nowhere' enough to bump 'Round Are Way' and 'Step Off' from The Masterplan compilation. That says something I guess since I think those two are better than 'Going Nowhere'. Just one man's opinion.
