I'm assuming a couple of things--that he could play all of his new songs (right now I want to hear them all), and that he will play a 20 song set plus an encore of 2 songs
The Death of You and Me Listen Up Step Out AKA...Broken Arrow Part of the Queue Everybody's On The Run Don't Go Away Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks Falling Down Shout It Out Loud Stranded on the Wrong Beach The Masterplan AKA...What A Life! The Importance of Being Idle Dream On Stop The Clocks Who Put The Weight of The World On My Shoulders Stay Young Record Machine Slide Away
If I Had A Gun Don't Look Back In Anger

He'll do the album then DLBIA, TIOBI, Wonderwall, Masterplan, Slide Away, Don't Go Away. Maybe a cover, but I'd be seriously surprised if he did 22 songs.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an epic, swirling, psychedelic version of Little James as set closer.

Don't think we can accurately form a setlist until we've heard all the songs on the album, but I agree on all those Oasis songs.

LOL at doing a 'dream setlist' with songs you've not heard! Ha! Mental
I concur with Cloudburster tho. Idler's Dream would be great. Nnnnnnnnnnnnever gonna happen tho

I do have similar fears to others that the set risks being quite one paced. 80BPM acoustic led classics. I will love it personally, but i dunno how a whole concert would go down with 75% of the songs like this. Will be interesting to see what Mr G does

there's just no chance he'll play 20+ songs.
He'll probably do 8-9 of the songs from the album, 4-6 Oasis songs, and maybe 1 cover.
No more than 16 songs. I just don't see it.

He definitely needs to play one at least from Step Out, Listen Up and Stay Young. He needs a few songs to get the crowd jumping around because most of the rest are more hand waving than jumping around. Well he might not want want the crowd jumping around but I hope he does. Hopefully there is a few "go mental" songs on the new album.

Yeah, was thinking about that when I drew up the list. I tried not to include songs a lot of songs that Liam sings--but that means that a lot of the up-tempo Oasis songs are eliminated. I only chose four Liam sung songs- SA, DGA, LU and SY.
I think it all depends on the format-if Noel were to go the TCT trust route and play with limited backing, I don't think the lack of up-tempo songs would be an issue--those shows were phenomenal. But it sounds like Noel's going with the full backing band, so he'll need a few sprightly tunes, and not just do a set of Talk Tonights and Half the World Aways. But that doesn't mean that he needs to go full on rock. That's not what he does best. I think as long as he includes enough mid-tempo singalongs like DLBIA, TIOBI, POTQ, LU, SY--it'll be great and not too sleepy.

I really hope he does Roll It Over. The demo version of it is fantastic, and that song deserves the justice of being played live! Doubt many casual Oasis fans remeber it/is aware of it. Imagine this as a set closer with the Crouch End Choir!
And now's a good chance for Noel to have another shot at Champagne Supernova as well. He should try and make a new version of it, like he did with Listen Up!, Don't Go Away etc. etc.
Last, and as much as I love the acoustic brilliant version of Don't Look Back In Anger, I wan't him to play it on his electric again.

He should do an Amy Winehouse cover, that seems to be popular at the moment. Back To Black anyone?

If he did POTQ and Idler's Dream, I'd be pretty frickin happy. That said, anything that we've not heard before or a lot would make me happy.
I say we get 15-17 songs. But we'll see.

Id love to see him throw in "To be Someone" love the cover he done on that from the chicago gig years ago, cant go wrong with an acoustic of "Listen Up" and "Rocking Chair" again like at the TCT would be great as well

It will never happen but I'd really love to hear an acoustic Who Feels Love? 0% chance of that though

nobody needs who feels love. never liked it. alright acoustically. but i would never prefer this over an other song by noel. and i don't think it would fit on a concert

Felt WFL was a disappointment when it came out, but I think, like a lot of SOTSOG, it is a real grower. Deceptively nice melody. Agree that it wouldn't be a barnburner at a concert though.

Regardless of what songs he plays, the gigs are going to be shite. It'll full of Mockney 'geezers' wearing a tracksuit and Reebok Classic combination, scratching their chins at the utter shite Noel is playing. It'll be as exciting as a Radiohead gig, that's for certain.

It'll be as exciting as a Radiohead gig, that's for certain. You probably don't realize it, but that actually makes sense even if you're not trolling. As for the set...I don't think too many people at the gigs would prefer Who Feels Love, Part of the Quese or Idler's Dream to Oasis classics (Slide Away, Supersonic, Live Forever, Masterplan...). I would be rather surprised if the Oasis songs he plays differ from those he played at his solo gigs so far(e.g. TCT).
