Aww shucks Liam!: Liam Gallagher sang down the phone to cheer up a fan after hearing she had been mugged, Ananova.com reports. The Oasis lead singer demonstrated his caring side while attending a wedding, reports the News Of The World. He was chatting to a fellow guest who informed the star that a female friend, who was a huge Oasis fan, had been mugged. Gallagher reportedly then asked the man to phone her so he could croon to her.

bad boy image ?? is that what liam is about for you lot here? I know what you mean here choco, but i think you guys are both right. My opinion about Liam is: Of course hes a bigmouth. Of course hes a bad boy. Of course he comes from the gutter and of course he likes to fight. BUT: I think he exagurates this image. He knows that its cool to be this bad, so he overdoes it imo. He is acting extra rude and extra bad and all that. Im not saying i think he originally a good boy. All im saying is that IMO he acts more bad boy than he already is.

Unless you know Liam personally you dont know what he's like, do you?
The papers fuck about with peoples lives and make images up.
Of course Liam is from a rough end of Manchester, hes done the drugs, hes drunk the booze, hes had the scraps, hes been around the world more times than ANYONE on here. Yeah, he was/is a badboy, but, hes what? 32? 33? Hes got kids. Hes in his thirties and he's a millionaire, sings in a rock n roll band, fucking hell, what more do you want?
And i'll tell you something aswell..... He's a better dad than David Beckham in my opinion. Every picture you see, hes with his kid. And Liam doesn't put himself first anymore, obviously. Good lad Liam, you're a cool geezer.

Im not denouncing, i just say i dont believe he sang through the phone to a fan. the story after that was about my opinion about liams image, not about that singing.

the oasis image is outdated, in my opinion. sure, they still say exactly what they mean, so in that respect they are as brutally honest and arrogant/self-confident as ever. and the whole rock n roll lifestyle would have been fun for awhile - but its been 10 years and so its understandable if they arent the same 'bad boys'...people change, they need to change. liam is 32! time to understand trying to be all bad is just gonna look pathetic esp now u got a family and have different priorities, so its better to gain respect by being a decent person, a good dad and making some great music - and be cool that way. which i reckon he is doing a good job of, despite the image that he is still tagged with. and maybe its just a weird culture difference....but being compassionate doesnt equate to being a wanker ...
