Oasis singer Liam Gallagher showed his softer side at the weekend by comforting a distraught homeless man.
The wild rocker - renowned for his bad-boy behaviour - was spotted outside a North London pub chatting to the upset beggar for more than an hour.
According to onlookers, the 31-year-old star had been enjoying a drink with friends outside The Queens pub when he noticed the beggar - who regularly sits by the pub - was crying Liam immediately pulled up a chair next to the 55-year-old man to inquire what was wrong and offered to buy him some food. The 'Songbird' singer then listened intently as the unnamed man proceeded to explain how he had just had a "bad run-in" with someone.
** The Liam Gallagher article continues now ** However, rather than leave him alone, the singer decided to give the tramp some friendly advice including "ditching drugs and other stuff".
Witnesses claim after a long conversation the tramp got up proclaiming that he felt "much better" and Liam shook the man by the hand, telling him: "It's been an honour."
Meanwhile, the rock legend has revealed he is sick of living in London and is desperate to return to his native Manchester.
He is quoted by Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "I've just been so busy in the studio recording new stuff and sometimes London does your head in. I do miss Manchester. Everything is so far apart here, but I'm going to go and see my mum soon."

wonder if he was totally by himself. but a nice thing to do of him anyway...

Now, you wouldn't see many multi millionaire rockstars doing that, would ya?
And everyone thought he was a self centered bastard.
Nice one Liam.

and yet another tear jerker hitting the news :
Oasis' singer Liam Gallagher reportedly sang a song on the phone for a fan to cheer her up after hearing that she had been mugged.
According to the News of the World, Liam showed the caring and soft side of his personality at a recent wedding that he attended.
He was chatting to a fellow guest who informed Liam that a female friend, who was a big `Oasis' fan, had been mugged, and was feeling low.
The pop star, then, reportedly asked for his fan's number and sang her a song to lift her spirits
