Just ordered this: www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=SICP-3238Comes with a DVD of the March 13th show which I think was one of the early gigs. I'll probably wind up finding out that the March 13th show gets released on DVD worldwide but what the hell, seemed worth buying. Also has Sons of the STage & WOMR as bonus tracks

Soz Don't feel bad - there are so many different sections of this forum it's just a minefield to navigate. Before you post any Beady Eye news you need to check the FACT AND FICTION section, the IN THE PRESS section and then THE TOUR AND ALBUM NEWS section.

For Anyone and The Beat Goes on are ommitted. Really good DVD though. Liam sounds great, the picture is great, it's an energetic show. Excellent DVD.

Odd that they cut out The Beat Goes On, you would think that a single would be included!

I know this sounds lame, but Liam's affinity with Japan is remarkable. The handwritten message in the Japanese lyric booklet, him dedicating KFAD to the people of Japan, organising the benefit gig, opening in Tokyo with Across the Universe.
He's done plenty to deserve criticism over the years but he went about all this very quietly from a public POV. Didn't try to be fucking Bono, just wanted to help and make their Japanese fans happy.

Gallaghers always have had something with Japan. They played their first ever encore in Nagoya in 1994 if I remember correct.
but yes, I agree with you, GIMH, that was very thoughtful and sweet of Liam to make the Japan benefit gig happen as quick as possible.

Yeah, I remember reading that about the encore. Apparently Tony had already thrown his sticks in the crowd and had to find new ones!
