I'm not sure if any of you's have realised but noel's single is being released on cd,vinyl & digital dl wheras beady eye have released there's only on vinyl & digital dl.
I thought they were both on the same record label so why aren't beady eye having singles released on cd single too?
All the dickheads will be saying ''i told ya noel would do better etc..'
im a fan of both & i'll buy the lot,but i just dotn see why they're not releasing there's on cd too.

Who cares...Noel will outsell anyway as he is more mainstream and is more accepted because of his more mature behaviour

a cd single with one b-side is a waste of plastic. i just wish flac was more of a common format to download.

Noel's site isn't listing 7" as a single format anymore

not only that, i remember BDI having their singles only on vinyl for some stupid reason, then releasing it as a digital download several weeks later.

Don't know if its just me, but beginning to feel a little bit sorry for Liam. Especially after the youtube slagging. Let's give little brother a chance and some support..! IMO he doesn't have a chance against big brother. Afterall it was his voice we fell in love with in Oasis days!

Single sales are redundant. The real battle will be who can pull the biggest audience.

when there's a release date for the 2nd beady eye album every fucker will be going on about em again then, seems now noel's back people are slagging off beady eye.i don't get how oasis fans can choose? it's abit weird imo. It'd only take liam to quit music forever then people would stop to think a bit more.
DGSS is an ace album imo, definitely is,noel's will be ace as well.

Noel seems more interested in single and album positions either because he has a bigger ego or because he has a bigger/better reputation to unhold. BE seem more interested in getting out and touring, playing live and exciting people.

I don't think you could be more wrong, they have recieved loads of good reviews for there live performances and from a personal point of view i'd say they are a better sounding band than oasis were. I've taken quite a few non fans to gigs who have commented on how good and fun they are live.

It's better than some of the later Oasis performances, yeah, but not by a whole lot. And keep in mind, those performances were bad because of Liam, not Noel. If either Liam or Noel should be focusing more on their studio stuff it should without a doubt be Liam, because he doesn't have it in him to be a live presence anymore. To me at least, his voice is grating.

Liam was the one who sounded bad, yes, but why was that? I would imagine it was two things: 1) Liam's refusal to take care of his voice by quitting smoking and doing proper warm ups, and 2) the band's stage volume being too loud for him to sing over because of Noel's cranked amps. I think even you would agree that Liam's vocals have USUALLY been signficantly better on the BDI tour. And he hasn't quit smoking or doing vocal exercises, so the only thing that's changed is that the guitarists aren't cranked to ten. Hell, Gem's even using just a couple of small combos! In my mind, Liam and Noel were equally to blame for Liam's shit voice. But, to my ears at least, it's gettin' better man....

Even people who don't care much about his solo album will see Noel just to hear old Oasis songs.
Of course Noel singing Wonderwall at his gigs would put him over the top *cough* encore

I seen oasis & beady eye live ... liam sang fucking perfect when i seen em as beady eye,i guess gem knows what he's doing more than noel when setting up the amp etc ... noel must've knows how loud he had it ... when it were time for noel to sing a few tracks during the last tour,Gem should've highered the amp even higher to see his reaction to it.
Beady eye were really amazing live ... any of ya's who's slagged em off once you're there watching em then you'll see how great they are... you really have to be there just to know.

Of course they are good live. No one is doubting that. They are established musicians. What they are lacking are the songwriting heights of Noel. DGSS is a good album, perhaps just above average, but it's no masterpiece.....We'll see if they can improve on it second time through, though.

Personally I prefer Liam to Noel, but I'm really looking forward to Noel's album and think its brilliant how we'll have 3, possibly 4 new albums in the space of 2 years. I'll go and see Noel and cheer him every bit as much as I cheered Beady Eye. Can't understand the mentality of anyone who loves Oasis but hates Liam and visa versa.

Well, I've always been of the idea that they're lacking in the production duties, more than the songwriting itself.
