Not sure if someone's alreeady said it, but Paul Weller's releasing a covers album, and one of the songs he's covering is One Way Road.
Can't wait to hear it.

When Weller covered it before, i thought it was a bit too slow. But now, in the studio, with the stands. Pretty curious

there was a version floating around the l4e mp3 section. i thought it sounded bit cheesey. it was just ok. nothing like the orginal!

Actually, it's miles away from the original. A friend of mine described it as "Noel-on-Valium-stepping-onto-a-1940's-dancehall". In my opinion, the point in making a covers album is to be "disrespectful" to the originals, giving it a more personal interpretation. Therefore, it's quite interesting what Weller has done in this new album...

it wasnt that bad to be honest i likes it @ the start wif the trumpet shit is crap but noel and birds is pretty shit aswell!
