It's on Sky News - what a terrible shame. Not a fan of her but what massive talent has gone to waste at such a young age.

She was a great artist. Loved both her albums. Sad to see her leave this earth. Sadly not surprising. Still though, great talent wasted.

27 curse continues. Prayers go out to her family. A shame to lose anyone at such a young age.

Was Amy Winehouse really that influential? To list her among Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain...

She had a great voice and was one of the best female artists out there. Drug addiction isn't a lifestyle choice, it's an illness.

Sad story. To sing about people that care about you wanting you to go to rehab to get better and you saying, "No, no no", you're gonna get those that say, "Well, you asked for it." But addiction is a cruel, never-ending illness. I hope she's found the peace that eluded her in this life.

Wouldn't cite her amongst legends, because it's all about unfulfilled potential with her. As soon as she got in with the wrong crowd (e.g. that bastard Blake Fielder Civil) it was all one big downward spiral. Very tragic.

Can't feel sorry for a woman who probably caused her own death. Didn't like her music, but anyway, RIP.

Can't feel sorry for a woman who probably caused her own death. Didn't like her music, but anyway, RIP. in a sense many people cause their own deaths, i.e. eating habits, smoking, being a moron, etc. addiction is very real and i wish it upon no one, and there many people i just fucking hate and still don't wish addiction on them. think about it. God bless.
