That clip just says Gas Panic all over to me, sounds like the outro.

To be honest, I'm getting a Keep What Ya Got/Teotihuacan vibe from it. Which for me personally is brilliant! I'm guessing that first impression will change once we hear the full song come monday though. Can't wait

Yeah I get Teotihuacan crossed with Gas Panic, tried not to get this sort of hype but it just came naturally, or it comes naturally with any Noel Gallagher song. Hope the song can live up to the expectations.

Hey. I'm new on here, and I don't want to be controversial, but I don't think this sounds anything like the soundcheck song. The drums are similar, but the basic structure is completely different. The soundcheck is on a loop of 4 chords over 4 bars, whereas this clip is on a loop of 3 chords over 2 bars...
Anyway, whatever, I can't wait for Monday!

i'm hoping i don't think that too much. I don't wanna be thinking "man if only liam sung this" during the album. one thing i'm really glad i read from that nme article is that noel changed the key of STC and others to better suit his voice. gooooood

It does have a bit of a Gas Panic feel, and Keep What Ya Got is a fantastic song that I wish Noel kept for himself (even if he didn't author the lyrics).

I think he wrote the melody...not the lyrics.
He said that he gave it to Ian because that it whole he sounded like every time he tried to sing it it sounded like Ian Brown.
Ian could have hanged the melody as well...but I don't think so.

Ian Brown is one of the worst singers ever. I'll take no vocals over Ian Brown any day.
