FLW slightly above average?? Come off it. It's a fucking brilliant song in my mind. I was actually blown away at the fact that Andy was able to write a song like that. Did not expect that at all. If NG wrote that I'm sure everyone would be calling it a classic already. DGSS is still great and I still listen to it and it still sounds fresh. Fair play to BE for producing an album way above my expectations. Comparative to the rest of the songs on the album it is an above average song. But that's viewing it in a vacuum, imo. I don't think music should be viewed like that. I couldn't see myself putting FLW in any of my playlists for even songs that I "rank as good", and not notice a drop-off in quality. To each their own I guess. This is just my opinion.

In my opinion [which again doesn't equal fact but I'll through it out there anyway] if made a playlist that had FLW along with another 99 songs from another 99 different artists and randomized them, I'd look forward to hearing FLW. It's a great tune to get the adrenalin pumpin'

Four Letter Word IS a tune. So is The Roller, The Beat Goes On and even Bring The Light. If Oasis released these songs they'd get much better reception.

And it's become tiring. This is the equivalent of me saying "you know, if The Roller wasn't made by Liam and co. you probably wouldn't rank it as highly as you do.". That would never fly as an acceptable argument. Yet I've seen plenty of people say "if this had been done by Oasis, you'd like it a lot more". Can I buy the same crystal ball that you have?

I Can See A Liar, Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is, Probably All In My Mind, She Is Love, High Horse Lady. Noel wrote a lot of good songs post Be Here Now but no way did he have that Midas Touch. I rather listen to any Beady Eye songs than the ones listed above. That's just my opinion.

Saying that they're better than his 5 worst, isn't much of an accomplishment. But I get what you're saying.

I rather listen to any Beady Eye songs than the ones listed above. That's just my opinion. Yeah fair point, Noel did produce some stinkers and he is not invincible. The reason I listen to Oasis more and more these days, is purely because it is the best product of using the talents of the four men. I think Liam is a talented songwriter but he needs Noel I think if he likes it or not. Gem and Andy are good guitarists but unlike Noel who has produced dozens of great songs, they haven't produced one great song for me. Therefore I can't help but see Beady Eye as just a damaged band who sorely miss Noel. Like if somebody dented your new car, it's hard to look at or in this case listen to. I don't why I have turned into this miserable git because at the start I loved this band but can anyone listen to any Oasis album and then listen to that Beady Eye album and not wish the car wasn't damaged.
