OASIS proved a hit with revellers but got the thumbs down from the SCISSOR SISTERS.
The US band, who wowed Glastonbury on Saturday with two live sets, said the Brit rockers looked miserable.
Singer ANA MATRONIC said: “They played an angry greatest hits set.
It’s a shame at this stage in their career that nobody wanted to hear new material from them.
“They also didn’t seem to appreciate the honour of headlining such a big event.
“They failed to address the audience and were just doing their own thing.
“They were even fighting before they went on stage.”<br>

i saw the scissor sisters at glasto, they were pretty shit to be honest. They did this cover of comfortably numb by pink floyd and they absolutely masacred it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if they are called ANA MATRONIC and in a band called THE SCISSOR SISTERS??!! Not liking OASIS because they're 'mean' isn't a good enough reason though.. at least mention how crap Liam's voice is or how the band are past their best like all the other HATERS do!!!  LOL |

First "The Darkness" comes with fucking 80's music and says their hip and cool, now "Scissor Sisters". Shit man. More and more of these miserable shitheads are coming out and it's annoying me so damn much.
Heard something from Scissor Sisters...."take yer mama out tonight" or something....they should really look over their lyrics abit.

I didn't know who the Scissor Sisters were until I saw one of their videos on VH1 last night...and then I laughed, because I remembered this thread. In fact, I was crying by the end of my laughing fit, I was laughing so hard. Anyone who wears clothes like that doesn't have the right to even listen to Oasis, muchless comment on them...

Just because the Sun says that she made those comments, it doesn't mean that she did.
I doubt any fellow performer at Glastonbury would say something like that about Oasis. They're probably good mates.

ohh, they proly do hate them i mean enough ppl do. sun may have exaggerated it maybe. lol, but yeah saying u dont liek em cos they are mean is dodgy! cos it aint got nothing to do with their msuic...and judging a band without taking into consideration their music is twisted. dunno bout them though, cant say i have heard any of their stuff |

the sisters are a good band though!
oasis at glastonbury 2004 reminds me of the who at woodstock.
hippies are foul and the enemy of rock n roll bands.
pick your side people.
rock n roll is purist, it hates bands like radiohead, starsailor, coldplay and snowpatrol.
rock n roll is blunt and to the point. it picks led zep over pink floyd.
it aint always cool but fans of this music are fans for life and totally understand the sound when they hear it done right. oasis do it right.
