Daily Record singles review by some John Dingwall Liam’s continued spat with brother Noel could well help draw attention to this track sounding suspiciously like a certain John Lennon b-side. 2 Stars out of 5. Now can any of you big Lennon fans point me in the direction of this b-side or is this just yet another piece of lazy journalism when it comes to Beady eye. They sure don't get much good press these days ae?

this review makes no sense at all since John Lennon didn't release non-album b-sides (apart from "Move Over Ms. L" which sounds nothing like TBGO).

If it sounds like either of the Beatles, it sounds like McCartney.
Hello goodbye hello goodbye...

The song is generic is the point to the article. DGSS lacks anything that could be called a "quality" single. But thats okay. Overall, the album is at least good background noise.

The song is generic is the point to the article. DGSS lacks anything that could be called a "quality" single. But thats okay. Overall, the album is at least good background noise. Regardless of the quality of the tune. He says "a certain b-side" implying that it he had heard a Lennon b-side that it is knocking off. That is unfair as it is blatantly untrue. Sure someone could say the album is generic...but this specific attempt at criticism is moronic.

If it sounds like either of the Beatles, it sounds like McCartney. Hello goodbye hello goodbye... Agreed - people compared Oasis to the Beatles, but The Beat Goes on is about as Paul McCartney as it gets.
