Since Noel has released his album details, the press have put 'Finally, the better half returns' on nearly every website/newspaper. Liam says a few interesting things in the T in the Park interview, it's asif that crowd reassured him to keep it going if you know what I mean, a little bit of doubt might of got in to his head, I mean it can't be easy hearing all the time Noel is the more talented brother.
That's the interview, just things like ''I needed that'' and ''He was relieved'' after they had done the show got me thinking a bit.

Oh definitely. Actually when I saw his tweet thanking T in the Park I thought "thank god they had a good gig, must've needed it" and then that interview came around.
The press has been needlessly ugly really. Was reading Metro and they had a huge headline "Oasis split because Liam tried to take my head off with a plum" Way to twist it...

I don't know that i would say he had doubts creeping in, but I think the press bullshit is juuuuuuust starting. What's going to really piss them off is if Noel's album gets great critical reviews and then the next Beady Eye album gets compared to Noel's...which will 100% happen if Noel's album does well. I think that would piss Liam off to no end.
If Noel's album gets panned as the same old shit or whatever then Liam and co. will kind of come out on top as far as albums go. We'll have to see how they treat Noel on the first go. I would guess they'd be kind as I think the press generally like him, but who knows. They didn't compare Beady Eye's album to old Oasis ones so maybe they'll spare noel as well. We'll know in a couple months.

They gave them a free pass on the early Oasis albums because only one of them had been present for them and Noel wrote them all.
I think Noel is probably in for more early Oasis comparison. Which will frustrate him to no end I'm sure.
What will be the worst for Liam IMO is if they mention in the HFB reviews that it's not amazing but better than BDI.

Noel's been getting to Liam since the day Liam was born.

I think Liam is just a bit humbled and beaten down by the fact that DGSS hasn't sold particularly well. I think if it had gone 3X platinum, he'd be more dismissive (rather than wounded-sounding)
Liam's problem has always been what I think is his most endearing quality--his unqualified enthusiasm for Oasis/Beady Eye music. He assumes everyone is "having it" like he is, whereas a more objective listener would see that DGSS doesn't have any big singles, and might not sell a ton of copies.

Its all going to come down to the 2nd album in my opinion. There’s no denying their talent as musicians but its gonna be interesting to see what they come up with in terms of songwriting and if the sound is gonna be in their Oasis comfort zone.

It amusing the way Liam is like "the next Beady Eye album will be good..."

At least he's bit saying it'll be the best album for 50 years.
His hyperbole is moderated and I like that. Hope Noel avoids OTT hyperbole.

he sounds down to earth abit more reserved than usual, even apologizing for the swearing quick somebody buy him a pint we want our Liam back! lol its some sort of worst case scenario for me that he is going to start drinking again on a regular basis. its a really important point now for the whole beady eye thing. he has to do everything to keep his voice as good as it gets and write some top material for the next album. I hope he doesnt give up just because noel is back. he is on the right way, falling into his old routines isnt enough anymore. now he has to proove that he can be in a big band without noel.

It's sad to see he like this but sometimes in life you have to hear you're not as good as you thought. I am not talking about him but the album. I remember Liam saying DGSS is better than DM and thinks like that.. he probably regrets saying that now.
