Judging by previous albums and beady eye's, when can we realistically expect to hear something, like even a clip. Albums out Oct 17th and its july 8th. My gut tells me we will hear a clip in the next 10-14 days. Noels probably narrowed the 1st single down from 4 to maybe 2 since the press conference but that's just my speculation. I assume he will put something out to maintain some moment he has built from the conference. What are your thoughts....

Jep, by the end of July I guess we'll have heard something from him. Hopefully he also goes back to his roots and does proper b-sides again (as BDI)

I think he has waited long enough to announce the album, he shouldn't let the excitement die now. Releasing a snippet/video clip/BTL-like teaser in the next few weeks should be the best thing to do from his point of view.

Do we think we'll get B-sides with these Noel singles? i.e., are we going to get some more new songs? I am super excited but slightly, just slightly disappointed I've heard so many songs on the new album. That's what I get for being too good a fan I guess.

I think we're gonna get @ least one hopefully 2 b-sides on each single. Noel has always had a lot of respect for b-sides.

Not his fault that Oasis fans are bitches about remixes. Maybe he'll do remixes again...but I doubt it. It think that was just for that album. It was a good album for remixes IMO. |

Well, releasing remixes as b-sides is a lazy thing to do and a big fuck you to the fans.
I thought a single would be released right after the press conference, maybe after the weekend. I'm starting to lose hope

One new song in three singles was just shocking. Should have known something was up from that. And that new song was shite as well, possibly the worst ever oasis song.
I did like some of the remixes, but I got the DOYS discbox which had heaps. I mean, fair enough with I'm Outta Time, where they released 2 X 7" and made one specifically 'remixes' so then I didn't see the need to not have a b-side on the other 7" or the CD.
Not a big deal, but I do subscribe to Liam's theory that Noel pulled some stuff back to use on a solo album. Not that I'm bothered as I'll get to hear it anyway now, but the DOYS singles were probably the biggest disappointment ever for me as an oasis fan, especially given the quality of the discbox, and the album in general etc.

Don't know why he didn't do original b-sides for DOYS. Who cares...over and done.
But he always put out two b-side tracks on the Oasis singles whether they be remixes/originals/live versions/alt version/covers.
The chances of us not getting proper b-sides is pretty slim IMO. But I may be proven the fool.

To be fair, Oasis did put out the Dig Out Your Soul Bonus Disc which included some new stuff like I Believe In All and Boy With the Blues, even if those didn't end up officially as b-sides.
I fully expect to see some proper b-sides from Noel.

I really doubt we'll be getting any B sides, Noel's already recorded 28! new songs to be released over the next year or so.
