[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-G69tv0OmDc&feature=related [/yt] What a song! But it's about 18 minutes long, includes a lots of guitar soloes and I would classify it as stadium rock, so it's unlikely.. Such a shame if this song ends up in nothing! What do you guys think about it?? Can anyone hear the lyrics? I've heard it's rumoured to be (Come on) It's alright.

That, my friend, could also be a song. What makes you so sure it's all improvisation?

It's still very cool, though, whatever it is.

It's an improvisation of a song so, I think, both of you are right. He wrote the skeleton of the song, and then they stretched it out to 18m in the soundcheck
If it was a 100% inspiration of the moment then I praise them cos it's amazing

That, my friend, could also be a song. What makes you so sure it's all improvisation? A) The chord structure. They've been using it at soundchecks for years. There are recordings as early as 1995 with the same chord structure to prove my point. B) The lack of structure (random intro, breaks, solos, the singing...) C) The sheer length of it. D) The simple, repeated melody. E) If any of you are impressed with this, I'd like to invite you to see my band rehearse cos we do this a lot, with our singer winging the lyrics.
