The final version has no cowbell, nor sitar, but it´s very different from the 2005 demo. More sound layers, more effects, more sofisticated sound.

If it's just "more sound layers and effects" I wouldn't call that substantially different to the 2005 demo. He would actually have to rework parts of the song for me to call it very different.

There´s no changes in the melody. The structure is slightly different, it´s a bit longer and the sound is really different. Maybe Noel likes this song so much because, in its finished form, combines good melody and psychedelia mood, a la Falling Down.

I think, at it's best, Noel wants this song to sound like Gas Panic!. If he gets it to sound as good as that song I will be ecstatic, but I don't think it will be.

The great thing about it is that there really is no punch line throughout the skit. It's Will Ferrell looking like an idiot while dancing, and Christopher Walken asking for more cowbell. Brilliant.

Not one of Noel's best and I think he should have just stuck it on a B-side. Draggy and the melody doesn't lift off. This from someone who usually rates Noel's latter period b-sides/demos pretty high (love JGO, WPTWOTWOMS, RM....also, SIOL is one of my absolute favorite post BHN Oasis tracks--love that one and still can't believe it didn't make HC).
From the snippet we've heard, f I Had A Gun sounds great though...could be a classic.

The already heard track I am least excited about.
It's not that great except the drum breakdown @ the end

For months all you posted was "The leak is imminent!" Now all the sudden you've heard Noel's super secret album? This guy is bullshitting right?

Personally i would have had RM finishing the album with STC around track 5 or 6. Its just there is a nice reference to STC at the end of the RM song, and it fits better like that;)
