Okay, it is an old old old argument but there are certain songs, I feel, that should be played. The songs that were written by LAG for Oasis that were never performed live deserved to be played. My list is: - Eyeball Tickler
- TYFTGT
- KTDA
I know they probably won't play 'Oasis' songs but surely the ones that were A) written by themselves and B) Never actually performed are exceptions? I mean, I was always under the impression that MOM was an Oasis song? Would any of you be against BDI re-recording the above tunes (or others) as B-Sides or bonus tracks?

They won't do it IMO And frankly none of their Oasis songs were THAT amazing that they need to be heard again

Songbird A Bell Will Ring Turn Up The Sun I'm Outta Time Boy With The Blues
These songs are great and it would be shame to never hear them live again or for the first time in BWTB's case.

Eyeball tickler Turn up the sun Songbird Wish they played those. These are as good as their recent material, right on the same level

I'm Outta Time was quite comfortably the best song on Dig Out Your Soul. I'd love them to play it. And I loved loads of the others to. To Be Where There's Life, Hung In a Bad Place, Turn Up The Sun, Songbird....

They probably won't play those tunes because Noel's probably made up most of the instrumental parts...

Any tracks they wrote should be fair game.

Take Me Colour My Life
Liam wrote these right? And even before Noel joined the band.

Take Me was supposedly a joint effort between Liam & Bonehead. Beady Eye should play 'I Believe In All'

They can't pull any of them off. ET is too technical, Liam won't hit a single note on KTDA live and TFTGT is just too plodding and dull to have in the setlist.
Born On A Different Cloud and Turn Up The Sun are the only ones they could do decent live versions of, I just think their sound is too "thin" to really do them justice.

Its a bit of a shame they didnt get to keep BWTHB as a Beady Eye song instead of wasting it on a silly bonus disc of DOYS

IIRC Man of Misery was originally credited as a Liam Gallagher solo song.
I've said this before, but the only song they could realistically play is Songbird as a) It was commercially popular, b) it was popular live, and c) all of the band members bar Sharrock played on it.
The rest don't meet the criteria. I doubt many Oasis fans even know of Eyeball Ticker's existence to be honest - bear in mind that this forum is the absolute hardcore so the everyday Oasis fans aren't as clued up as on here.

They could play any of the album tracks, anyone who is interested in going to a Beady Eye gig is going to be familiar with the last three oasis albums.

I would love to hear any of them but lately I've been thinking about how I Believe In All would be great, especially seeing as it's a better version of Two of A Kind (I think anyways)

I'm kind of glad that they leave the oasis songs behind them. I think they have the right to play any oasis they wrote but I like the fact that they are trying to build a new legacy and back catalogue rather than just relying on the past.

I think if they played songs that weren't played live on Oasis tours it'd give out a kinda "we're not as good as oasis" vibe which they wouldn't want. I also agree with what was posted above about noel having a hand in how those songs eventually turned out and they don't want to play any of his material in any capacity.
