Seven years since The Fat Of The Land, Liam Howlett has completed the new Prodigy album. Locked away in a London studio last week, an excited Howlett, new CD in hand, let NME take this exclusive picture to prove that after countless false starts, 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned', is finished for real. NME had to take Howlett at his word, though, because he wouldn't let anyone hear any of the 12 songs. Actress Juliette Lewis appears on one track, while best mate Liam Gallagher is rumoured to be on another. "Nobody's stepped on my toes since the last album and now this albums here to step on everyone else's," Howlett said triumphantly, before NME was hustled out. Why the sudden departure? Just after this picture was taken, Liam Gallagher walked in. Well, perhaps that album just needed a little bit more tweaking...
'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned' will be released in August.
