what songs do you want Noel to perform on his tour?
in addition to the 10 album tracks, i reckon he'll play 5/6 oasis tunes... i want to hear:

by the sounds of it he might not play all 10 tracks and the record is only 46mins long so i magine there could be as many as 7-8 oasis songs

I know this won't happen, but how fucking awesome would a new Champagne Supernova be? A more psychadelic, SOTSOG-esque version or something. I don't even know what it would sound like, but a more haunting version with Noel on vocals would be really interesting.
I hope there's a surprise like that thrown in instead of just the same version of DLBIA and TIOBI etc.

I'd imagine he'd do the same songs he was doing for all of the "acoustic" shows. Though, I would really like to hear Stand By Me back in the mix.

Yeah he'll probably play the whole album (10 songs) and a couple that aren't on there.
plus he'll more than likely do 4-6 oasis songs

He shouldn't be performing any Oasis songs.
Yes he wrote them but equally Oasis existed before Noel joined so the band was as much Liam's as it in Noel's.
You release a solo album then tour that album, don't shit yourself that no-one will turn up unless you play songs from almost 20 years ago (in some cases)
This was the problem with the latter Oasis tours, too much relience on the same older material, not a spread of new songs then a cross section of the back catalouge.
Playing Oasis songs is a fucking cop out.

I don't want a gig that lasts 47 minutes long. It's what new bands do, this is a new band. 10 songs so maybe 3 singles so it's realistic to expect at least 3 new songs as B sides. Play the B sides, add a couple of covers hey presto a gig touring a new album. Playing Oasis songs is shit, boring and cowardly IMO. Let the new music stand on it's own 2 feet and be judged seperately |
