I'm not sure what his real feelings towards Noel are. In interviews he seems pretty docile and welcoming of Noel's solo plans, but now he seems all pissy about it all.

i agree wih this thread much more than noel bitch thread!
why the fuck would noel praise beady eye even if he did think it was good? all liam has done is take swipes at noel every chance he gets.
and dgss is hardly the album liam promised- best in 50 years lol.
not even the best in 50 days!
liam should keep it shut and try and concentrate on doing a better 2nd album.
you can talk crap about being the best album forever... blah blah blah, all you want but you gotta back it up with a decent album.

Noel has been neutral. Liam has said some outright insulting things about Noel putting out an album.
We'll see further down the road...but currently...more bitch marks to Liam.
And the fact is that DGSS IS just alright. You know how critical Noel is of music. He could have ripped in a new one simply by truthfully stating it was a bit underwhelming. Not a truly great tune on there.
He didn't give the papers a story to write about "NOEL SLAMS BDI" which is more than I can say for Liam. Most the papers can say is that Noel kept tactfully silent regardly his opinion of BDI's album merely saying "it's alright"
People need to stop freaking out about it

And maybe my Noel thread was OTT, which i appologise for but the reason i did it is because i cannot understand what there is for Noel not to like about it. Noel was the one that decided to put AGN on DOYS ahead of Boy With The Blues, he was the one who said DOYS was the album oasis had been working towards and it had songs like GOYHHL and TNOR. All Noel has done is provoked not only an inevitable reaction from Liam towards Noel's new album. They were always going to take digs at each other but not necessarily the music imo |

If he wanted to be a bitch he could have made some valid critiques...lord knows we all have enough.
Honestly...did I miss Noel saying something bad about Liam? Frankly they should let the past be the past. Noel seems to have. Hope he stays the course and hope Liam calms down.

Honestly...it makes Liam look bad. Noel has been silent throughout. He even did interview on talksport and wasn't mean about Liam. And he did mention him 3-4 times.
Noel does a press conference...again isn't overtly mean about Liam. Worst he did was be lukewarm about BDI's album...and Liam doesn't even wait for the next interview...he takes to twitter to name call.
It'll be in all the papers tomorrow and people are gonna read it and it'll reaffirm to them that Noel is the saner brother and Liam is a yobo. Way to fight the stereotype, Liam.

What do you mean even it out? Fucking nearly everyone loves Noel here, not Liam. I'm more of a fan of Liam but I think Noel is brilliant as well, they are going to slag each other off, they are brothers, does it really matter if they do? I love Beady Eye and I know I'll love Noel's album as well.

I have a feeling Liam's tweet was directed more towards Noel saying that advertising Pretty Green on stage was the demise of Oasis, rather than the album reception. Liam can care fuck all about album reviews, but when it comes to blaming the beginning of the Oasis break up on Liam's clothing line, he probably took offense.

We expect Liam to be a bit gobby and childish, he's the younger brother, it's how it works. When Liam does it we just consider it silly not malicious, "oh Liam running his mouth off again". Noel as the more intelligent reserved and calculating one taking a swipe at his brothers music just looks nasty especially when you follow up with the Pretty Green nonsense.
If Noel really did kick off about one of his band members (lead singer and brother no less) advertising his clothes in an Oasis programme then Liam should have been the one to walk away. You can try to justify that how ever you like but it's a clear case of big brother wanting to play boss and stop the little brother enjoying his toy.
It's wierd, I'd always considered my self team Noel and fully expected BDI's stuff to be shit. Part of what I liked about Noel was how supportive he was of Liams song writing, to see him have a go at his brothers band just left a bad taste.

It's not just "someone", it's Liam fucking Gallagher, half of Oasis.
