When asked about beady eye he said "out of respect for the friends i have in the band i would rather not say - it's alright".
Well Noel, if Beady Eye is "alright" then your last 3 albums were shit.
As for having all these songs left over from DBTT and DOYS, what a load of shit that was.
Tbh i wanted Noel to do well but i was always "team liam" after the split. Now im not bothered if he flops.
And as for the band and album name, all the noel fans who slated beady eye. Well not only is beady eye 100x better than highy gay flying birdies but DGSS pisses all over this title Noel has come up with which sounds like a fucking Neil Diamond comeback

Best songwriter ever imo. But after that BDI comment he can do one. I mean, beady eye have made an album thats not far away from what oasis were doing, the only difference is it's actually alot better than the previous oasis efforts and from what i have heard from the demos and soundchecks of noels new stuff, it sounds better than them too |

And since you brought it up. I like HFB better as a name. It has positive connotations as opposed to the slightly negative connotations of Beady Eye (keeping a suspicious eye on things) Plus High Flying Birds made me think of this  Beady Eye made me think of a person with a thyroid disorder  |

And as i keep saying, it isnt that different from the sound of oasis and it had great songs on there. And Noel has always praised Liam's songs and DGSS has 2 of his best efforts in TMS and Wigwam. And as Andy's songs are much stronger than anything he did in oasis, why wouldnt Noel like it? Im sick of everyone thinking the sun shines out of Noel's arse and Liam is always the dick. |
